Description
REFAQUIN CREAM is a medication used for the short-term treatment of moderate to severe facial melasma. Refaquin contains hydroquinone, tretinoin, and flucinolone acetonide. Hydroquinone ydroquinone produces reversible depigmentation of the skin by inhibiting the enzymatic oxidation of tyrosine to 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (dopa) and suppressing other melanocyte metabolic processes. Tretinoin is classified therapeutically as a keratolytic. Fluocinolone acetonide is a synthetic corticosteroid drug derived from hydrocortisone.

General Indication
Short term therapy for moderate to severe Melasma

Composition
Per g cream : Hydroquinone 40 mg, Tretinoin 0.5 mg, Fluocinolone Acetonide 0.1 mg

Dose
Apply thinly 1 time a day on the melasma area, 30 minutes before going to bed at night

How to use
Apply a thin layer on the face

Contra Indication
hypersensitivity, pregnancy, children under 12 years of age with herpes simplex, varicella, skin TB, and dermatitis caused by syphilis

Attention
Not for melasma maintenance therapy. Avoid exposure to sunlight, contact with eyes, nose or mouth. Concurrent use with oral contraceptives Pregnancy Category : C

Dry skin, redness and peeling, burning sensation
