Description
Genalten 0.1% Cream is a drug used to treat skin diseases caused by infection by sensitive bacteria. Genalten contains gentamycin which is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that is widely used especially to treat infections caused by gram-negative bacteria, such as Pseudomonas, Proteus, Serratia, and Staphylococcus. Gentamicin is also used for septicemia (blood poisoning by pathogenic bacteria and/or substances produced by these bacteria), meningitis (inflammation of the lining of the brain), urinary tract infections, respiratory tract, digestive tract, infections of the skin, bones, and soft tissues.

General Indication
Primary and secondary skin infections are caused by sensitive aerobic gram-negative bacteria

Gentamicin sulfate 0.1%
Dose
A day, 3 to 4 times

How to use
Apply a thin layer on the sore

Attention
Should not be used for the eyes and the area around the eyes. Discontinue treatment if irritation or sensitization occurs. Overgrowth of microorganisms that are not susceptible to long-term use may occur. Once superinfection occurs.
