SCABIMITE CREAM is a topical medication containing Permethrin which is used to treat scabies skin infections caused by the mite (mite) Sarcoptes scabiei. Permethrin is a Pyrethrin class of drugs that works by killing mites and their eggs. SCABIMITE CREAM is used by applying cream all over the body including the face, neck, scalp and ears. After 8-24 hours, the drug is rinsed by washing with soap. Treatment can be repeated after 1 week.

Composition
Permethrin 5%

Dose
One time use at night. Apply evenly on the entire surface of the skin from the head to the toes, especially the area behind the ears, folds of the buttocks and between the fingers. Leave for 8-12 hours, then wash thoroughly the next day. If during use it is accidentally washed, the cream must be re-applied.

How to use
Apply the cream all over the body including the face, neck, scalp and ears. After 8-24 hours, the drug is rinsed by washing with soap. Treatment can be repeated after 1 week.

Contra Indication
Hypersensitivity to pyrethroids or synthetic pyrethrins

Attention
Be careful using this drug for infants < 2 months, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. Avoid use on eyes.

Side effects
Mild transient burning and stinging sensation, itching, erythema, skin rash
