Aglonema Pictum Threecolor
One of these Aglaonema species was discovered by Carl Sigismund Kunth in 1841. Aglaonema pictum tricolor grows at an altitude of 1000 – 2000 meters on the slopes of volcanoes on the islands of Sumatra and Nias.
Aglaonema pictum tricolor has a unique pattern. The pattern is similar to an army uniform (army) with a combination of 3 colors namely dark green, light green and white which add to the beauty of this ornamental plant. Having army patterned leaves makes this plant also known as a camouflage plant.
The leaves of Aglonema pictum tricolor are oval in shape and are longer and wider than the leaves of the aglaonema plant in general. In addition, this Aglonema plant also has thicker stems.
The distinctive envy of this plant makes it classified as a rare ornamental plant.
